Paneer Butter Masala

Paneer - 1/4 lb
Onion - 1
Tomato - 2
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Corainder Powder - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Methi leaves - 1/4 cup
Kasthuri Methi Powder - 1 tsp
Milk - 1 cup
Butter - 5 tsp

Preparation Method:

1) Cut the paneer into medium slices

2) Grind the Tomato into fine paste.

3) Prepare gravy by adding tomato paste, 1/2 cup milk,Garam Masala , Corainder , Chilli Powder and mix it well.

4) Heat butter in a pan and add chopped onions , ginger garlic paste and fry till onion turns golden brown.

5) Add the gravy in the pan and leave it for 3 - 5 mins.

6) While the gravy boils, keep stirring it well till raw smell goes out.Once cooked add remaining milk little by little stirring it immediately.

7) Add salt and paneer cubes ,mix it in low heat for 2 mins.Serve Hot once done.

  • Instead of methi leaves you can also add kasturi methi powder.
  • If more color needed add tomato sauce or red food color.
