Cauliflower Poriyal


Cauliflower - 1/2 lb
Onion - 2
Green chilly - 3 to 4
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Mustard & Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Gram Dhal - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tsp
Salt to taste

Preparation Method:

1) Chop cauliflower, onions & green chillies into small pieces.

2) Add cauliflower pieces and salt in boiling water for about 5-10 mins. Don't overcook the cauliflower.

3) Heat oil in a pan add mustard & cumin seeds after they crackle add gram dhal, chopped onions, green chillies, turmeric powder and salt.

4) Fry till onions & green chillies are cooked well add boiled cauliflower and mix it well for 3 mins. Serve hot with rice/chapati.
